The Week In Style: 04.28.15
Justin Rose
Rose kept it clean and classic all week at TPC Louisiana and rolled in clutch birdie putts on the last two holes to win the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. The Englishman doesn't get enough credit for his great style because he generally keeps things pretty simple. Yet a well-fitting wardrobe based around blues, grays and whites will never go out of style. Plus, any cool accessories like Rose's striped belt will always pop against basic backgrounds. Well played.Ashworth Golfadidas golf
Cameron Tringale / Bryce Molder
Two more strong cases for why it's a good move to match your belt to your trousers (and not your hat or shoes). See how both Tringale's and Molder's lower halves read as just one color and how smooth their entire looks come off from head to toe? Smart thinking from these Georgia Tech grads.Nautica, Footjoy
Morgan Hoffman
Subtle and stylish, Hoffmann debuted these two new tonal leopard and camo prints Saturday and Sunday at the Zurich Classic and killed it both days. Hoffmann's ability to pair his custom shield tips with Greyson's modern, muted designs is next level and creates a very cool balance between contemporary and classic vibes.Greyson, Footjoy
Kevin Kisner / Hudson Swafford
Tour pros have never been shy about showing some skin (we're talking the exotic-animal variety) with their belts and shoes, and last week was no exception. Kisner and Swafford (a pair of Georgia grads) stood out over the weekend. Swafford's sand-colored strap felt like the sharper play as it blended perfectly with his similarly colored polo for a really smooth look.Bobby Jones, Under Armour
Ryo Ishikawa
Whether it's party on the bottom and business on top, or visa versa, Ishikawa is one of the best at balancing bold style from head to toe. Not that the kid can't mix patterns, too, but some of his best rigs work a serious print in with a solid shade. He cued up two show stoppers in New Orleans. Too bad these threads aren't available on the open market.Callaway Apparel
Aaron Baddeley
It's a surprise to see Badds make a fashion bogey as he normally has no trouble keeping his clothes on point. The fit, however, with the trousers he wore during the second round at TPC Louisiana was just plain off. The pants are at least three inches too long and look sloppy doubling over the front and back and shoes. Plus, even slim dudes benefit from a little shape, and these super-straight-leg trousers have none.Ogio
Keegan Bradley
Guess who? This is what I'm talkin' about! Keegan looks so much tougher when he keeps the J's and his pants in dark tonal shades. Bradley will do well to keep the khakis in the closet and stick with this alternative vibe that mixes in heavy doses of darks. This is the best coordination I've seen with the patent leathers yet.Nike, Travis Mathew
Billy Horschel
Speaking of the dark side, this week in all-black bad-ass looks comes to you from 2014 FedEx Cup champ Billy Horschel. Billy's got super-sharp style and is the perfect ambassador for all of RLX Ralph Lauren's bright bold colors, but it's that contrast of Horschel's clean-cut aesthetic that makes him look that much more impactful in all black. I hope this outfit finds its way into more rounds this season; it's one of his strongest.RLX-Ralph Lauren
Lee-Anne Pace
The monochromatic move isn't only for men. Pace cued up this killer light look in bright blue Sunday at the Swinging Skirts LPGA Classic and looked powerful, athletic and feminine straight through the finish.Puma Golf
Jane Park
Prints continue to trend on all tours, and Park's pair is one of the freshest I've seen this season. The tightly organized florals look almost geometric and make for a more modern take on a traditional trouser.
Michelle Wie
OK, I get that the stretchy work-out pant has somehow become an acceptable option for any and all activities (active or not) these days. Still, this whole outfit looks a little too much like workout-wear for the Ladies Who Lunch to me. I generally dig Wie's high-tech athletic vibe, but she missed the mark here.Nike Golf
