Did we learn anything style-wise from the event? Yes and no. We learned that players who wear oversized clothing will not change. Oversized shirts and trousers with endless pleats and extra length in the leg drive me crazy! Anyone who has ever been to San Francisco is familiar with the famous, "The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in..." As a result I will give Hunter Mahan a "hall pass" for the Under Armour mock on Sunday. Loved the lack of logos on the clothing and please, let's enforce the no vendor logo rule. The weather will be much warmer in Australia in 2011. That in and of itself should help in wardrobe selections. Let's create a competition for the best designs.
