“Great resort course with some very dramatic holes. The 17th is one of the best holes in the Southeast. High fun factor here but green complexes are very challenging. Greens could be faster but they are in great condition as are the fairways. Stay out of the Bermuda rough, it will cost you a stroke. Challenging from all tees ."

“In its day this was the standard bearer of golf course design. but length and technology have passed it by. It is still a good resort/public course, just not a championship one."

“Tom Fazio's first design is a little dated, but also has a few interesting holes in the dunes and finishes with two good ocean holes. Still worth a visit!"

“Well-known for being Tom Fazio's first solo design, the Links Course at Wild Dunes was once thought to be a top 100 course but is now not even one of the best in South Carolina. The course is public and features numerous excellent holes on a surprisingly hilly terrain but features too many boring holes and suspect conditioning to compete in a deep state such as South Carolina. Definitely worth a play for those looking for a public option near Charleston, but I prefer other courses in the area more."

“The two nines were very different. Front was hilly with many elevation changes mostly with some holes along the marshes. Back nine was a lot flatter with a few holes on the ocean. Both nines were challenging."

“Hurricanes have damaged the last two holes but this course was always overrated."
