“Solid semi-private course with a strong Rees Jones design through the marshes along the intercoastal waters north of Charleston. Stretches out to over 7,000 yards from the tips but Jones has plenty of tees to accommodate all levels of golfers. Greens can be challenging so there is a premium on approach shots. Conditioning could be improved because the course was soft when I played but if they could move to a more hard and fast surface, it would be worth another half star. Worth the trip, one of the better facilities in the area for public access"

“Interesting course. Was built to be one of the premiere ones in the area until Hurricane Hugo came through and wiped out most of it. Because of this there are too many forced carries in my opinion making it very difficult for the higher handicapper."

“Pretty nice Rees Jones course. 15th hole is a bit funky Rees wanted to have the last few holes on the marsh."
