Overview
Like Turning Stone’s other two 18-hole tracks, the Shenendoah course is a past member of our 100 Greatest Public list, reaching as high as No. 52 in 2005-2006. The Rick Smith design offers plenty of variety, including both tree-lined parkland and open links-style holes.

“The Atunyote Course is the highest ranked and best known of the courses at Turning Stone Resort, but there are several others worth playing on property, including the Shenendoah Course. This Rick Smith design was a Top 100 public course in the early 2000s and features a nice layout through the wetlands and opens fields of Upstate New York. Despite playing late in the season, the turf conditions and greens were in very strong shape and the course is quite visually attractive, especially in the Fall foliage. This is definitely among the better public courses in New York and honestly rivals the Atunyote Course for top option at the Resort."
