Overview
Meandering through canyons and between rocky outcroppings, Conestoga provides a unique experience of playing within Mesquite’s natural landscape. With water in play on just two holes, you likely won’t lose many balls provided you keep it out of the surrounding desert, which lurks to snag errant shots. The picturesque 10th hole, with a mountain backdrop and a green set in front of a tumbling waterfall, is one of Mesquite’s most memorable holes.

“Two different nines. The front winds through desert canyons and is not a traditional golf course but is fun to play if you keep an open mind and have a few golf balls to lose. The back is more traditional. From the tips it is not easy. It was in good shape. It is a course you will like or dislike, not much in-between."

“Incorporates elevation change in outstanding fashion (at #2, 4, 9, 11 & 18) and unique giant stacked boulders lifting green complexes (at #2, 5 and 17). The old western wooden fence running across the fairway at #4 is as unique, as the hole is challenging, only to be outdone by sand surrounded "island" fairways at the par five 6th hole. The par three 10th, with tee boxes spread more than 100 yards wide around a lake, creates incredible shot options/angles to a water fronted and bunker protected green. The aesthetically mesmerizing waterfall in the backdrop was only slightly overshadowed on the next hole (#11) by the 3 tiered waterfall behind the green at the 2nd hardest hole on the course."
