“One of six courses at Crystal Springs Resort in Northwestern NJ, Crystal Spring GC is arguably the most difficult of the group and claims to be the toughest course in NJ, bolstered by its 148 slope. While not long at just over 6500 yards, this course is indeed very difficult and might be the toughest course on a per-yardage basis I've played. Often, it feels like Crystal Springs is tight just for the sake of being tight, with most teeshots feeling quite claustrophobic and very narrow, small greens. A prime example of this is Crystal's signature par 3 11th, which features a wildly narrow green complex and 100 foot dropshot approach over water. This course has its moment but is likely too unforgiving for the majority of guests that play."

“Fun course that will test you mentally. All types of shots are needed from uneven lies, the Par 5s can be had with 2 very good shots."
