“The course was recently renovated with 18 holes now and is a beautiful Fazio design. The conditioning was absolutely top notch bent grass. The setting in the mountains was spectacular. A must to play!"

“A very well maintained, interesting and challenging golf course. Definitely one of the better golf courses in Cashiers, NC, an area blessed with many superb golf courses, including Wade Hampton. I would like to see them add walking paths from green to the next tee, and from the tee to the fairway. It is a walkable course, but not walker friendly. Hole 18 is a great finishing hole, a challenge the entire way."

“Nice resort course redo by Fazio. Not overly difficult with some elevation changes on the back 9 but not overly dramatic. #15 is a great hole looking at the green and the mountain in the back drop. Excellent conditioning."

“The updated Fazio design at High Hampton Resort adds some great improvements to the layout variety and distinctiveness of the course. In particular, the four new holes 15-18 are all very strong and provide a good finish to the round. Green complexes are challenging, but fair. With drivable par fours and five par 3s, this course provides the golfer with some fun opportunities to score well. With only two dogleg right holes and none on the back nine, the layout is geared to players who prefer/can hit the ball straight and/or left. This course is a nice addition to the mountain golf venues in the western North Carolina."
