“This private course is located in western North Carolina, Sapphire , 10 minutes from Cashiers, NC in the Southern Appalachian Mountains. The course is walkable and was designed by George W. Cobb (1958). The course as trout stream, ponds and tree lined fairways and is in excellent condition."

“Very fun course in the mountains of western NC. NOT a mountain course but rather a great course in the mountains. No absurd uphill or downhill shots here. The greens are rather flat and uninspired but the course is fun. A very enjoyable walk. A rarity in the mountains."
