“Chevy Chase Club offers the golfer a spectacularly well maintained, pleasantly walkable, and driver friendly golf course where each hole allows for birdies for well positioned shots and bogeys for the slightest miscalculation. The director of agronomy, Stephen Britton, started his tenure in June 2019 and he keeps Chevy Chase Club, when the weather allows it, firm and fast like the courses from the Australian sand belt, where he grew to love the game of golf. I recently played with a member who had returned from a golf trip where he played Augusta National, Merion Golf Club, and Pine Valley Golf Club. He told me Chevy Chase Club's greens were better than all the greens he played on the trip. An astute player will recognize the Donald Ross architectural influences, which golf course architect Andrew Green plans to revive in a major course restoration planned for July 2024. Following the restoration, the membership and guests playing Chevy Chase Club will enjoy a sterling golf experience."

“A well manicured private course that is usually in excellent condition that provides a stiff test for most golfers. One of the nicer courses in the area should you be able to get access."

“A lot of hands are responsible for this course. The course is laid out on some rolling Maryland terrain. It is a great club and a fine course. If invited go."

“A good private club inside the beltway. More amenities than nearly any club to include ice rink, paddle tennis and bowling. The layout doesn't overwhelm you and the general feel is a bit stuffy."
