Arrowhead Golf Club: South

“Arrowhead is a great public golf facility not too far outside of Chicago. Each of the three 9s traverses a unique part of the property and plays a bit differently. The courses are very well maintained and it the staff is hospitable and friendly. If you are looking for a legitamate course at a good value around Chicago, Arrowhead is a great option. The South nine starts at the clubhouse and then heads to the south part of the property which is very interesting terrain including as much elevation change as you can expect around Chicago. There are interesting shots over and around water features with options for safe plays and rewards for being aggressive. The middle part of this nine feels like you are on a different property from the other two courses at Arrowhead. A fun and challenging test usually at a great value."
