“Jim Engh always makes for some crazy and unique green features.... lots of elevation changes and interesting holes. Wide fairways with unique angles for second shots and green contouring that can dramatically change shot options depending on pin locations."

“Fun and unique track. Lots of elevation changes and numerous bowled shaped greens which provide for many short game options"

“Definitely a course that I would want to play again because it was a lot of fun. Almost every hole had tee box high above the landing area and the approach shots to the greens were almost always uphill. This made it fun, but also a little mundane. It was a pretty track winding through the hills and woods with some views of Lake Oconee. A few of the greens were a little gimmicky with the mounding and bowl-shaped features. There was not a lot of roll in the fairway, mostly due to elevation changes from tee to fairway, but also because many landing areas were the start of the slope back up to the green. The course was fair, with wide fairways and excellent lies. The 5th and 12th holes were the prettiest and the most demanding. With the width of the fairways, it would have been nice to see more strategic usage of bunkers or creeks to make the course more challenging as whole."

“You need a good caddie to enjoy your round because of the quirks and blind shots you encounter."

“Very unique course - visually imposing in many places. Undulation on the entire property - especially the greens. Some bowl shaped greens extremely forgiving allowing shots hit dozens of feet offline to nestle back to the pin position. What is lacking in challenge is made up for in the fun and character categories. Overall - a very pleasant golf experience and a highly recommended play."

“Fun course with exciting shots all the way around. With wide fairways and slopes bringing your ball back into play it is playable for many different skill levels. Very unique for the area."

“Fun course and unique in design with huge green complexes and mound. Course was in great condition. Some people may think the design is a little over the top, but fun change of pace from a traditional course."

“Unique layout, especially the green complexes which can be difficult. Excellent use of the hilly terrain. 18th hole has three greens. The course is visually intimidating off the tee with wide fairways and the most interesting and unusual greens you might find anywhere. For the players with a creative golf mind, they will see multiple approach shot options to many of the greens. One has to think outside the box on some shots to get the ball close to the hole. Great fun and very fair."

“Awesome place. Perfect conditions. Unique design features make this one of the hidden gems in Georgia. Great clubhouse. One of my favorites that is undervalued in the state rankings. Must play with a member."
