“Really good improvement over prior course. Good looks with the stacked bunkers. Flows well. Course in great condition and a solid public option in the area."

“Played SaltLeaf on a cloudy, windy spring day. Saltleaf is a new course by Floyd Design on the site of the old Raptor Bay track. The most notable feature is the sculpting and usage of synthetic stacked sod bunkers which is for aesthetic purposes primarily, not integral to the course. Otherwise, the course seems geared towards resort and "average golfer" play, offering little in the way of Shot Options, Challenge and Character. There are zero bunkers on the course(!), yet the greens areas could have been enhanced with mounding and runoff areas (not the case). A few good/interesting holes at SaltLeaf, but otherwise a fairly generic Florida course."

“There are better options in the Fort Meyers / Naples area."

“Fun, challenging, fair course. Unique sod layering around cart paths and waste bunkers similar to sod layering of bunkers in Scotland. Worth playing if you get the chance."

“I was hoping for a bit more variety as several holes were very similar. I also thought it was a poor value."
