“Located in Flagstaff, Arizona, this upscale private course was the last course designed by Jay Morrish (1994). It’s very scenic, has excellent amenities and is extremely well maintained. It features rolling hills and elevation changes with undulating greens."

“There are clubs seeking to do what Pine Canyon has done - build character into a new facility - in a lot of bougee places. Few succeed the way Pine Canyon has. Yes, it's a playground for the wealthy. Yes, they seemingly have more staff than Members. But even without all the pomp and circumstance, the course is incredible."

“Courses like Pine Canyon are the reason we play golf. The combination of natural beauty, challenge, and the thrill of accomplishment affect you at an emotional level From a physical perspective, the course is quite-simply breathtaking, with stunning mountain views, ponds, meandering streams, waterfalls, and meadows. But all of that is wasted if the course doesn’t rise to the expectations of the property. At Pine Canyon, Jay Morrish has more than met this challenge. This is a course you could play the rest of your life and not get bored. It asks golfers to face just about every challenge. This is golf that transports you—it brings an inner joy that only golfers can understand. Pine Canyon is outstanding in many ways: its natural beauty, its overall golf facility (such as Hogan paths for walkers, a 19th hole to settle bets, caddy program), fairways with excellent roll-out and pure greens, along with a great mix of drivable and long par 4s and par 5s. Most importantly, Pine Canyon is fun—very good shots are rewarded but slightly poor shots are not doomed. The only negatives might be the strong prevalence for downhill tee shots and dogleg left holes, and the lack of directional variety in the par 3s and par 5s. But it almost every respect, Pine Canyon is, quite simply, a special golf course."
