Overview
Legend Trail Golf Club is a Rees Jones-designed public course just north of Scottsdale. Like many courses in the region, there are plenty of forced carries over desert that lines nearly every fairway. That said, the fairways are relatively generous, making it a playable layout for the higher handicap. There are some risk/reward holes, particularly on the back nine, including at the par-4 11th, which doglegs sharply from right to left.

“Played in late January and conditions were outstanding. Greens firm and holding, fairways fast but with lots of grass and well groomed. Sand was very consistent. Great practice facilities and ambiance. A bit pricy, but good value given the conditions and interesting layout."
