“The North Course at The Boulders Golf Club offers a scenic and enjoyable desert round set among massive granite boulders and rolling Sonoran terrain. The fairways provide room off the tee, but natural rock outcroppings and desert washes frequently come into play, rewarding accurate shot placement. Approach shots are especially important, as the greens are well protected and often elevated, requiring solid distance control. Subtle elevation changes and well-placed risk-reward opportunities add variety without making the course feel overly demanding."

“Similar to its sister course, the NORTH Course is the Private track at The Boulders Resort in N. Scottsdale. Playing this course in late April shows off it's great course conditions before the weather starts to become really hot. The greens are good and roll true, the day that I played they were in the 11+ range which made for a pretty fun time. Shot options, layout and challenge are all similar to other desert resort courses, but the aesthetics and natural beauty of The Boulders and Black Mountain make this a good choice to play when you are in the area especially when staying at the resort."

“Too wet for a desert course. Greens putt better than they look. Dessert areas unkept. Lots of unused potential."

“Both courses are similar. The North might be a bit easier but the resort is first class."

“The slightly less compelling of the two courses on the property. Higher end resort course and therefore must expect to pay higher greens fees. Good deals in the off season. Also, the course can play a little wet with the heavy watering needed to keep it green in the desert."
