2022 Wells Fargo Championship final-round tee times

Rory McIlroy will tee it up for the first time since his hot final-round finish of 64 at Augusta National when he plays this week at the Wells Fargo Championship. Not only will he be coming off of one of the lowest rounds in Masters history but he'll be looking to defend his 2021 Wells Fargo title. That’s a pretty strong combo.
Attempting to halt a back-to-back run will be top tour pros like Abraham Ancer, Patrick Reed and Webb Simpson. Morgan Hoffmann will also be making the trip looking to keep his tour card with two starts left on a medical exemption. He’ll need to earn 238.42 FedExCup points (no worse than tied for second) to stay afloat.
Due to the Presidents Cup coming to Quail Hollow Club in September, this year’s event will be played at TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm, a one-year departure from Wells Fargo's usual home in Charlotte. The course underwent a huge renovation back in 2015 after being a perenial PGA Tour stop in the 1980s and 1990s. The course last held a PGA Tour event in 2018 when the Quicken Loans National .
The winner will receive 500 points per player and a $1.62 million share of the $9 million purse.
