A peak inside the locker room at TPC Sawgrass is a treat for any golf fan.
Sure, it doesn't quite have the championship history of clubs like Augusta National or Winged Foot, nor the classic charm of tradition-rich venues like Seminole or Merion, but knowing how many great players have walked through the doors in pursuit of a Players title offers its own cool feeling.
This behind-the-scenes video tour of the locker room at TPC Sawgrass by ScratchTV has given us a larger appreciation of this unique golf setting.
It's also introduced us to Joe Schmalzried, the attendant at TPC Sawgrass, who might be one of the coolest locker-room attendants in golf. That's actually saying a lot, too, because there are some great characters manning the locker rooms around golf. We think you'll agree after watching this brief video.
