Wearing extra gear. Having your swing encumbered. Being uncomfortable. Being wet. These are all common notions we have about playing golf in the rain. But apparently, it doesn't have to be such a drag.
Check out this video from Swedish pro Adam Andersson, who recently demonstrated how he is able to stick a golf umbrella down the back of his shirt and still hit good shots:
Not too shabby, eh? Of course, it helps that Adam is obviously a very good golfer to begin with, but this might be something worth experimenting with on future rainy days. The umbrella even acts as an aid to keep you from taking too big of a back swing! It's just probably better to try it out on the range first. . .
