Rogers Island has a main home, guest house, three beaches, pool, tennis court and putting green.

Fishers Island Club is extremely private—so private that having $35 million is not enough on its own to get you in. But if you do have the means, you can create your own little piece of island heaven in the Northeast.

This 7.65-acre island off the coast of Branford, Conn., is up for sale. For your $35 million, you get an 8,700-square-foot main home, four-bedroom guest house, pool and dedicated putting green to alleviate some of your FOMO.

Rogers Island sits in Long Island Sound about 40 miles west of Fishers Island. You will have to come up with your own transportation to one of the two docks, but you'll have even more privacy than the folks at Fishers. There's even a dedicated staff quarters for somebody to keep an eye on things when you're off conquering the world.

The primary residence on the island has 10 bedrooms and eight bathrooms and has wired power from shore, central air conditioning and a whole-house generator for backup. Unlike Fishers, where you're at the whim of a schedule and 45-minute trip, Rogers is just five minutes off the coast of Branford, a charming Connecticut beach town with a thriving restaurant and craft-brewery scene. Pack a big enough boat and you can go the other way across the sound to the Hamptons, just 20 miles away.

Practice your putting on the Jack Nicklaus-designed putting green while taking in views of the Long Island Sound.

Hedge fund executive Greg Jensen bought Rogers for $22 million in 2018 and updated the kitchen and bathrooms in the main home. The putting green was designed by Jack Nicklaus and sits adjacent to a tennis court and artist studio.

There's privacy, and then there's privacy.
