Yang's victory popular in the Indians' clubhouse

Why? Principally because it gave Shin-Soo Choo's teammates an opportunity to needle Choo for having been toppled as South Korea's most famous athlete.

"They said (Yang) is the most famous Korean athlete now," Choo told mlb.com. "They said I'm number two 2 now."

Choo, in fact, was delighted with Y.E. Yang's victory over Tiger Woods in the PGA Championship. "I don't play golf, and I'm not a golf fan," he said. "But I wanted him to beat Tiger. When he did, I was jumping around the clubhouse like, 'Oh yeah!'"
