2023 World Wide Technology Championship tee times, TV coverage, viewer's guide

The PGA Tour will play its first event ever at a Tiger Woods-designed course this week as the World Wide Technology Championship will make a shift from the El Camaleon Golf Club to the El Cardonal Golf Course at Diamante. We’re also betting that this won’t be the last Woods course to host a professional event.

“I set up the golf strategy to make golfers think and make choices,” Woods commented about the course. “There are going to be different ways to play every hole. Angles of approach are going to be very important and will dictate the type of shots you should consider. I love this kind of golf.”

The tour’s third stop of the 2022-23 season in Mexico will feature a bevy of top talent. Cameron Young, Sahith Theegala, Lucas Glover, Emiliano Grillo, Chris Kirk and Ludvig Åberg are all in the Cabo San Lucas field this week, although the reigning champ—Russell Henley—will not be making the trip.

There are just three events remaining on the PGA Tour calendar, so pros looking to secure spots in the top 125 or the top 60 of the points list are running out of time to lock into those positions.

The winner will receive 500 FedEx Cup points and a $1.476 million share of the $8.2 million purse.

TV Schedule

Golf Channel will carry live coverage from Thursday through Saturday from 4:30-7:30 p.m. ET and on Sunday from 3-6 p.m. ET.
