Approach shots have been Si-Woo Kim’s weakness this season (ranked 129th in greens in regulation and 148th in strokes gained/approach the green), but at the Wyndham Championship Kim was on target with his TaylorMade Tour Preferred MB 14 irons and Titleist Vokey wedges, hitting an incredible 60 of 72 greens in regulation for an 83.3 percent clip. Among the key shots was a 5-iron from 217 yards on the par-5 15th hole that set up a much-needed two-putt birdie after having bogeyed three of the first five holes on the final nine.
