Just wondering, in the wake of speculation that Paul Casey still might be added to the European Ryder Cup team should Lee Westwood be unable to answer the call, what might happen should Casey decline the invitation on the grounds that he already has other plans?
He does, in fact, have other plans. "I'm on holiday," he said last week. "I booked a holiday. I'm in neutral ground that week. I'm going to Canada, biking."
Casey, of course, would not decline, but imagine the European media backlash that would occur were he to do so?
