We're not quite sure what to make of this Pat Perez music video

July 22, 2016

Despite season-ending shoulder surgery in March, Pat Perez has been keeping himself busy. There's been a lot of physical rehab, some practice, and one over-the-top music video.

On Thursday, "Irons Aren't Metal" was released, and, well, we're not quite sure what to make of it -- although his Vote For (Bill) Murray t-shirt is awesome. There are exploding golf balls, plenty of sexual double entendres, a "rock goddess," and Perez acting like a badass throughout. Here it is:

Whoops. Wrong video. Sorry, we were doing an Alfonso Ribeiro post before. Isn't it just delightful when he does "The Carlton" dance? OK, anyway, here's the badass rock video featuring Perez we promised:

Perez isn't listed in the musical credits for the video, which was produced by The Kicker and shot at the newly opened Topgolf Las Vegas. And if you're thinking, "but irons are made out of metal," you're not alone. It took us a second, but the title refers to irons not being metal, as in HEAVY METAL. Hence, why Perez is cranking driver, aka "the big stick" throughout the video.

In any event, we can only hope that an injured Tiger Woods will be releasing a music video, too.
