Watch Will Wilcox practice his driving on the beach
Avoiding water is constantly on the minds of those teeing it up at TPC Sawgrass this week. But on the eve of the Players, one player went to hit balls where water can't be avoided: the beach. Check out Will Wilcox launching a tee shot into the Atlantic Ocean.
The Seinfeld scene he's referring to comes from "The Marine Biologist" episode in which Kramer makes a "hole-in-one" in the blowhole of a whale. Here's a clip of him teeing off at the beach:
We're not sure if Wilcox was just having fun or if this was some sort of psychological trick. Either way, that looked well struck. And they say practicing in bare feet is good for your tempo anyway.
