Steven Bowditch had a rough week at the Australian Masters -- and one unfortunate fan paid the price.
During a first-round 77, Bowditch was particularly wild off the tee. He pulled his drive on No. 11 and hit someone right in the face, breaking his nose. Here's the footage with some prognostic commentary by the announcers:
According to the Daily Mail, the fan had to have his nose re-broken so it could be set (double ouch!), but that he returned to watch the tournament on Friday (gamer!).
The man appeared to be the only person in the vicinity of where Bowditch's ball went. Still, a little "Fore!" call couldn't have hurt. . .
