It's been a wild, fun week for golf fans thus far. On Thursday, Jake Knapp shot the 15th sub-60 in PGA Tour history. Not to be outdone on the DP World Tour, Dale Whitnell made TWO holes-in-one on Friday. And just days earlier, Netflix's third season of "Full Swing" dropped. Are you not entertained?!

And then there was what Shane Lowry did on Friday afternoon at PGA National. It wasn't quite as dramatic as those other things—by the way, Shane plays a prominent role in Episode 2 of the latest season of "Full Swing"—but it's not often that you see back-to-back hole-outs on the PGA Tour.

Even better? Lowry was playing the second round of the Cognizant Classic with TGL teammate Min Woo Lee, so he hit his fellow Bay Golf Club player with his own celebration in which he pretends to call "Dr. Chipinski." Get it? Have a look for yourself at both splendid short-game shots:

Impressive. Incredibly, Lowry lipped out another chip on No. 5 or it would have been three in a row.

"Min Woo is normally that one that chips in," Lowry told reporters after. "So it was -- I nearly chipped in on 5, too. I lipped out on 5 with a chip. I felt good. I see my way around this place. It was good."

In fact, Min Woo chipped one in earlier in the week during the Bay Golf Club's latest TGL victory.

Back to outdoor golf, Lowry's 68 moved him into contention heading into the weekend at PGA National.

"I sort of felt like today anytime I hit a good shot I missed the putt, and anytime I hit a bad shot I chipped in," Lowry said.

Hey, it's always nice to have the good doctor on call.
