Watch this seagull steal a golfer's wallet at Pebble Beach ... and then drop it into the ocean

One of the best (and sometimes scariest) parts of golf is that you’re in the great outdoors. Unless you’re Five Iron-ing, there’s no roof, and you'll need to withstand the elements to succeed. Usually, that just means some wind, mosquitoes if you hook it into the trees and maybe a raindrop or two. However, this unfortunate golfer took on Mother Nature at Pebble Beach and lost everything.

Pebble Beach is already $675 for resort guests, but it was significantly more for this golfer, who had one of the worst moments of his life documented for eternity. This hapless man lost his wallet to a seagull, resulting in one of the funniest and most tragic videos we’ve ever seen on the golf course.

You can hear the anxiety-riddled golfer scream at the bird to “drop the wallet,” and alas, it did just that … over the water. We can’t really blame him for almost immediately falling to the ground. You can’t prepare for this one. There’s not just the cash, which could be plentiful for a golfer at Pebble Beach ready to tip caddies and have money on hand for drinks, but there are also credit cards, IDs and who knows what else?

The seagulls at Pebble Beach are notorious for joining in, but not always for the worst reasons. Sometimes, they’re the difference between a par and a birdie.

But now there’s a golfer out there without a wallet, solely due to a seagull’s practical joke. We’re not sure how you even break this news to your family. A bird stole my wallet, flew around with it taunting me and then dropped it into the sea. At least there’s footage, or else no one (us included) would believe him.
