You know that driving distance is on the rise on the PGA Tour. But while the tee box bombs are getting the attention, there's a trickle-down effect throughout the bag.

Case in point: Rory McIlroy just stuck a 4-iron at Bay Hill's par-5 sixth hole...from 251 yards out:

Yes, these guys are good. But a 251-yard 4-iron? No wonder golf's governing bodies are starting to panic over these moon shots.
