Thomas Pieters had a great Ryder Cup week, teaming up with Rory McIlroy to secure three points for the Europeans -- despite the team's losing effort. The young Belgian made a name for himself with a 4-1 record and his massive tee shots.
Another huge drive this week at the Alfred Dunhill Championship has us in awe. We'll let the video of the 400-plus-yard drive do the talking.
We know the ball rolled about 100 yards onto the green, but there were no sprinkler head or cart-path bounces involved. Just an old-fashioned 400-yard drive on Carnoustie's seventh hole. Pieters would go onto two-putt for the birdie.
If there's one thing we've learned, it's that Pieters should be a heck of a lot of fun to watch in the coming years.
