Watch Aaron Rodgers and Stephen Curry connect on *deep* pass at celebrity golf tournament

July 15, 2017

The best parts of a celebrity golf tournament like the American Century Championship often have little to do with golf. In the past we've seen A.J. Hawk tackle fans, Alfonso Ribeiro and Justin Timberlake do "The Carlton" dance, and now, there's this connection between the MVPs of two different sports.

During Friday's first round of the American Century Championship, Aaron Rodgers and Stephen Curry took a quick break from competing to create a different kind of on-course highlight. Curry went deep and Rodgers hit him with a pass, much to the delight of the crowd at the Lake Tahoe event. Check it out:

As you can see, it's actually Curry who deserves most of the credit on this one. Rodgers' throw is well behind the Golden State Warriors star, but he adjusts by making a sliding catch to show he doesn't just excel at basketball and golf. But don't worry, Green Bay fans. Something tells us Rodgers will be just a little sharper by Sept. 10 when his Packers open their season against the Seattle Seahawks.
