If it sounds like a broken record, that's because it is. With each passing year of the Waste Management Phoenix Open, attendance records on the PGA Tour keep falling, and for the third consecutive day, attendance at the Stadium Course at TPC Scottsdale has set the mark for their respective rounds. Now, with Saturday's announced attendance of 189,722, the 2014 installment of the event can boast the all-time single day record for any PGA tournament, eclipsing last year's Saturday total by over 10,000 people (179,022).

Showing no signs of slowing down, only the Super Bowl might keep Sunday's attendance from following suit. But with course modifications on the horizon, we have to wonder if future events can keep up the torrid pace.
