Virginia golf course owner issues WILD warning to 'd---heads' who damaged greens
There are few things that can upset golfers more than seeing vandalism done to a course, particularly, if it happens to be your home course. So we can only imagine the frustration level if you happen to own said course.
That being said, what you're about to see is one of the wildest warnings we've ever seen issued by a golf course.
Let's head to Meadows Farms Golf Course in Orange, Virginia, which according to its website boast 27 holes, including the longest hole in America—an 841-yard par 6 from the back tees. Sounds like a great spot, but, unfortunately some damage was done to some greens last week.
That prompted this angry Facebook message from owner Josh Dotson that is starting to spread on Golf Twitter. Let's just say these vandals messed with the wrong person.
We told you it was wild. "Steaming loaf" is one heckuva description. Anyway, Meadows Farms posted this on Sunday:
So it's a pretty lively Facebook page—especially for a golf course. Anyway, here's hoping the greens at Meadows Farms get fixed promptly. And that whoever is responsible for the damage confesses before things get out of hand.
