Jesper Parnevik's career, more than his eccentricities or five PGA Tour victories, has been defined by his injuries.
Parnevik, 49, underwent hip surgery in 2000 and again in 2009. In 2010, it was discovered he had a broken lumbar veterbrae. In 2012 he nearly severed a finger in a boating accident.
Now this, a broken rib from riding a Segway. "Haha, of all injuries I'v had, this is the most ridiculous!! Broke a rib and had to withdraw from all events this month," he wrote on Instagram.
