As a high school freshman, Bryce Harper's legend spread when he hit a home run measured at 570 feet. Now 22, the Washington Nationals outfielder is showing off that staggering power -- and some incredible hand-eye coordination -- on the golf course.
Harper posted a video of him hitting what he said was a 340-yard drive. Based on the impressed reaction of those watching, we believe it.
But what made it much more impressive was the fact Harper pulled off the feat swing "Happy Gilmore" style. Check it out:
Despite that kind of talent, Harper only hit 13 home runs in 100 games last season. We're thinking that whole "hitting a baseball is the hardest thing in sports" saying might have some merit.
