U.S. Open 2025: Scottie Scheffler's 1-year-old son on the driving range with him is the cutest golf video of the week

A day after a rather animated—and extremely frustrated—Scottie Scheffler pounded golf balls following his round, the World No. 1 was back at Oakmont's practice range in great spirits. Scheffler had only taken one shot less on Saturday, but having a one-year-old in tow made all the difference.

That toddler, of course, was Bennett Scheffler. And by the looks of it, the little dude is already a range rat. Well, a range rugrat.

Scheffler's Saturday 70 kept him within touch of the lead heading into the final round of the U.S. Open. But after what's been a grinding week at Oakmont, he looked happy to keep things loose as he worked on some stuff. And little Bennett was taking some decent swipes at the ball even though he can't even walk yet. Have a look:

Awww. Of course, we've seen plenty of adorable moments with Bennett, most notably when Scottie brought him into the clubhouse at Quail Hollow after signing his winning scorecard at the PGA Championship in May.

But this is the first time we've seen Bennett swing a club, and, well, hello, world. Keep at it, kid. You've got some solid golf genes.
