Tiger Woods provides an update on his PGA Tour return (sort of)

With Tiger Woods' first TGL season officially coming to an end on Tuesday night, the obvious question left was when would his PGA Tour season officially begin? But the 15-time major champ only provided a vague update on his schedule.
Woods' Jupiter Golf Links team lost 9-1 to the Atlanta Drive in the final regular-season TGL match at the SoFi Center in West Palm Beach, Fla. Tiger's team had already been eliminated from the playoffs which start in a couple weeks. In the meantime, the PGA Tour's flagship event, the Players Championship, is next week.
But when asked after if he was "gearing up" for the PGA Tour and "maybe a start in Florida," Woods had this to say.
"Not really. This is the third time I've touched a club since my mom passed, so I haven't really gotten into it," said Woods, whose mom, Tida, died last month. "My heart is not really into practicing right now. I've had so many other things to do with the tour and trying to do other things."
That makes it sound like Woods will not be teeing it up at TPC Sawgrass. The Florida Swing then ends the following week before the PGA Tour heads to Texas for two weeks ahead of the Masters next month.

"Once I start probably feeling a little bit better and start getting into it, I'll start looking at the schedule," Woods added.
Woods' last official PGA Tour start came at the Open Championship in July when he shot 79-77 at Royal Troon to miss the cut in a third consecutive major for the first time in his career. He underwent a sixth back surgery in September before returning to action in December to nearly win the PNC Championship with his son. The 49-year-old Woods has also played in four TGL matches as well as the one-day Seminole pro-member on Monday.
