Tiger Woods birdied the first hole of Wednesday's pro-am -- and he made it look really, REALLY easy
It was just one hole. Of a pro-am. But boy, did Tiger Woods make it look easy. Really, really easy.
Again, we don't usually read too much into practice-round highlights. Heck, there usually aren't even practice-round highlights to get excited about, but with Woods making his first official PGA Tour start in a year, the cameras were rolling when he arrived at the first hole of Torrey Pines' North Course on Wednesday morning. And they caught this:
A 3-wood to the right side of the fairway, an approach to two feet and a tap-in birdie. Ho-hum. Tiger Woods is going to birdie EVERY hole of his latest comeback, isn't he?! TRY TO STAY CALM, PEOPLE!
Funny enough, a computer glitch on Tuesday night actually predicted Woods, who has a 1:40 ET first-round tee time on Thursday, would birdie every hole in his first round and shoot 54:
Then again, maybe it wasn't a glitch. Computers are really smart, after all. And Tiger did bring that first hole of his pro-am to its knees. . .
