This tattoo is one of the sweetest gestures in pro golf
PGA Tour Champions player Rob Labritiz will have his son, Matthias, caddying for him at this week's SAS Championship. It's yet another pinch-yourself moment for the longtime head pro at GlenArbor Golf Club in Bedford, N.Y., who achieved his senior tour dreams in 2021 after turning 50. But in the meantime, Matthias did something else that caught dad off guard—and brought this father-son pair closer together.
"A few years ago, he wanted to—he said, 'Dad, how do you mark your ball?" Labritz said. "I gave him a ball. Took a picture of it. The next thing you know, he goes, 'I've got a cool thing to show you. I got this tattoo. I'm like, oh, my god."
Aww. Here's a look at the matching tattoo, which is one of the sweetest gestures we've come across in pro golf:
"He goes, 'Now I always know you're next to me dad,'" Labritz says in the clip.
Damn, guys. You got any tissues in that golf bag?
