This Star Wars trailer dubbed to Beastie Boys' "Sabotage" is absolutely fantastic
There are worries about the upcoming Han Solo movie. The directors were fired well into production, Disney was so concerned about Alden Ehrenreich's early performance that an acting coach was brought in and the first trailer wasn't released until months before the scheduled premiere. Couple that with the divisive nature of "The Last Jedi," Star Wars fans are fighting visions of Jar Jar Binks.
But, even in the scenario that the movie bombs, we'll always have this fan-made "Solo" trailer, beautifully dubbed to Beastie Boys' "Sabotage."
I know trailers, particularly fake ones, aren't eligible for Academy Awards. But, really, what's the point of handing out Oscars if this can't grab gold?
"Solo" comes out on Memorial Day. Unfortunately for the film, I don't know if anything can live up to this trailer's hype.
