Third round: Oosthuizen manages under-par score

    April 09, 2016

The windy conditions proved costly again during the third round of the Masters at Augusta National, as South African Louis Oosthuizen was the only player to record a score under par among the earlier starters.

Oosthuizen, winner of the 2010 British Open, finished at one-under 71 and is four-over through 54 holes. He bogeyed three holes on the front nine and offset them with four birdies overall.

Matt Kuchar managed an even-par 72, as did Bill Haas. Kuchar is tied with Oosthuizen at four-over, and was tied for 23rd.

Adam Scott, winner of the 2013 Masters, shot a three-over 75 with three bogeys on the back nine, moving to seven-over for the tournament.

Bubba Watson continued to struggle, shooting a four-over 76. At 10-over, his score is just three strokes shy of worst for all players to make the cut.
