Steve Williams to caddie for Adam Scott at the Masters

December 02, 2015

Adam Scott has given up his long putter, but he's not saying goodbye to his caddie -- yet.

On Wednesday, Golfweek's Jim McCabe reported Steve Williams will be on Scott's bag for at least the Masters in 2016. Williams retired at the end of 2014, but returned to work for Scott at this year's U.S. Open, and also caddied for the Aussie at the Open Championship, PGA Championship and WGC-Bridgestone Invitational.

Williams has been in the news of late for the book he wrote about his time as Tiger Woods' caddie. Williams worked for Woods during 13 of his major titles, and was on the bag for Scott's lone major victory at the 2013 Masters.

Scott was recently asked about Williams' book and about the possibility of a sequel.

"I'm going to be on my best behavior so there isn't one."
