Stanford's golf team posts funny photos to celebrate Tiger Woods' return

On Friday, Tiger Woods confirmed he'll make his return to competitive golf at next week's Safeway Open, the opening event on the 2016-17 PGA Tour schedule. Although no one knows what to expect from the 14-time major champ, the consensus is that people are excited he's coming back. And no one had a better response than his alma mater.

To celebrate Tiger's return, the Stanford men's golf team posted the following four photos, each containing a current player replicating a famous Woods reaction. Check it out:

Good stuff, especially from the dude doing the double fist pump from the 2008 U.S. Open at Torrey Pines.

As for the guy doing the club twirl from the 2009 Presidents Cup? That's Maverick McNealy, who happened to tie Woods (and Patrick Rodgers) for the most wins in school history by picking up his 11th career title on Tuesday. McNealy will also be in the field at the Safeway Open, so perhaps he'll pick up some club-twirling tips from Tiger himself.
