Someone's been having fun with Webb Simpson's locker at Oakmont
We're not sure if this is some sort of U.S. Open/Oakmont tradition. More likely, it's just a playful prank. Either way, Webb Simpson has had some silly nameplates at his locker this week.
See? There is some fun allowed at the U.S. Open!
Our favorite is Webbvgeni Malkin. It's a nod to local hero Evgeni Malkin, a star of the Pittsburgh Penguins, who captured the Stanley Cup on Sunday. And Malkin, of course, is a teammate of Sydney Crosby. OK, so now I've exhausted all of my hockey knowledge.
