Pro soccer star moves her trophies to honor husband's hole-in-one, might be the golf wife of the year
Most people who make a hole-in-one like to show off the accomplishment in their own home. It gets a bit trickier when your spouse is a decorated professional athlete.
Such is the case for Jeff Van Buren, the husband of soccer star Ashley Hatch. But lucky for Jeff, Ashley made him his own little golf ball display—and made room for it on her already full trophy case.
POV: Me, a professional athlete, trying to make my amateur husband feel special about his hole-in-one, Ashley wrote on an Instagram post earlier this week. Aww. And she even moved her golden boot for leading the National Women's Soccer League in goals and her ESPY Award for NWSL POY (NBD) to give Jeff a front-and-center spot. That's true love right there.
