So just how much does Daly owe the government?

On more than one occasion, John Daly off-handedly has suggested that he is working for the United States government these days, most recently in this Twitter post last week:

@KnobbyKabushka the government won't let me bc I owe them too much money--definitely can't work for them haha

Daly has never revealed what he owes, though when he was hawking Daly merchandise outside the gates of Augusta National during the Masters, he did acknowledge that he was attempting to stave off bankruptcy.
