Shane Lowry hugs tree that helped him win his first PGA Tour title

Shane Lowry's first PGA Tour win included plenty of great shots and clutch putts, but it left everyone talking about his final approach that required, well, a little luck of the Irish.

In case you missed it, here's Lowry's second shot on No. 18 while holding a one-shot lead (2:45 mark of the video). Trying to find the front-right side of the green, Lowry hoisted a wedge from the left rough that clipped a huge tree on the way down and ricocheted to about 10 feet from the cup:

Lowry converted the birdie for a two-stroke margin of victory. After receiving his trophy, he went back out to Firestone's 18th hole to show his appreciation for his favorite tree:
