Unfortunately for the Americans, Team Europe was feeling it on Friday. Jon Rahm was chipping it in from Spain, Viktor Hovland was in line for a Norwegian cabinet position and Shane Lowry was Usain Bolting around the greens. Even the international brethren who didn’t make it to Marco Simone were having a hell of a day.

Yes, that’s Cobra Puma Championship winner and British golfer Richard Mansell having the time of his life watching the Ryder Cup, especially Jon Rahm. Mansell took the classic “I’m Into Something Good” by Herman's Hermits (great band name btw) and turned it into a European rallying cry. We’re glad someone’s enjoying themselves, as the Americans certainly aren’t thus far.
“Woke up this morning feeling fine/Got Jonny Rahmbo on the line” is undoubtedly soon to be Grammy-nominated. Everything’s coming up Europe today. Let’s see if the British karaoke zealots add this one to their weekend ballads. Mansell may have just started a new Ryder Cup musical tradition.
