Reports: Tiger Woods is back at Augusta National after shooting a 74 on Tuesday
Tiger Woods' Masters status is still unknown, but we can't question his effort to figure out whether he's ready for the year's first major. Golf Channel reported Woods is back at Augusta National on Friday.
This makes two trips to Augusta this week -- the first of which apparently didn't go too well. A source told Golfweek Woods shot 74 on Tuesday. The up-and-down round included five birdies, but some shaky short-game shots, including one that ran through a green and into a bunker.
Woods is a four-time Masters champ, but he hasn't won a green jacket in 10 years. Woods has played just 47 holes on the PGA Tour this season and has fallen to 104th in the Official World Golf Ranking while he's been taking a break from competitive golf.
